Top 5 Summer Nail Polish

I've found myself buying lots of nail polish recently and with Superdrug having a 3 for 2 offer on Barry M it would be a crime not to! So I decided this weeks post should be on just that. I normally go for bright colours like the Passion Fruit on my toes and softer colours on my fingers like Smarty Pants but with the hot weather we've been having, I've also been going for brights on both to step out of my comfort zone and change things up a little.

Summer Look Book

As summer has finally arrived here in England, I thought what better to do than a Summer Look Book! I've put together 7 outfits for different occasions throughout summer.

The first look is a simple day dress. It's ideal for a shopping trip or going out for lunch with your friends. Add a simple blazer for a smarter feel for the night time.

Dress - H&M
Belt - H&M
Sandals - Primark
Blazer - H&M
Watch - Next

The second look is perfect for going down to the beach or having a picnic in the park. The light weight material is great for the summer as it keeps you nice and cool.

Playsuit - Tesco
Flipflops - Hollister
Sunglasses - H&M

One of my summer wardrobe staples is a maxi dress. They're so versatile; they can be dressed down with a simple pair of flip flops or dressed up with a pair of wedges like I've done here.

Maxi dress - New Look
Belt - New Look
Denim Jacket - H&M
Tan Wedges - Matalan
Ring - River Island

This is another simple outfit which is great for a casual day to day look. I love wearing my converse as they're so comfy and go well with most outfits, and as I have a couple of colours more often than not I'll be wearing them!

Shirt - Forever 21
Skirt - Matalan
Converse - Office

Another one of my summer outfits is the oh so simple shirt and short combo. An outfit you can just through on paired with the trusty converse and be good to go. The silver studs on the shorts gives them that extra edge.

Shirt - New Look
Shorts - Forever 21
Converse - Office

The second to last outfit is more of an evening outfit or for those days when its not that hot but you still want to feel summery. Wearing the light blue jeans rather than navy or black really brightens the outfit.

Blouse - H&M
Vest - Primark
Jeans - Primark
Sandals - Primark
Sunglasses - H&M

The final outfit is by far my favourite! It's very 90's but with a modern twist. When I saw this denim dress on the rack I fell in love instantly and the fact that it was only £12 made it even better!

Dress - Primark
T shirt - Primark
Varsity Jacket - Topshop
Converse - Office

I hope you enjoyed this weeks post and that this look book gave you some ideas for your summer wardrobe.

June Favourites

June was a very hectic month for me, what with last minute revision, exams and prom, I still can't believe it's over. But that does mean it's time for my June favourites!

The first product in this months favourites is the Alberto Balsam - juicy, green apple herbal conditioner. The first thing that drew me to this product was the smell. Oh My God! It is by far the best smelling conditioner ever. It's smells exactly like a freshly picked apple, so much that if it wasn't conditioner I'd probably eat it, not going to lie. And as well as it smelling divine, it works amazingly too. It leaves your hair feeling silky smooth for ages. And what's more at 99p it couldn't get any better.

The second product in my favourites is the Arran Aromatics - Lavender Tea Tree reviving toning facial gel wash. This face wash leaves your skin feeling cleansed and unbelievable soft. It contains tiny pieces of loofah which helps to help exfoliate your skin and combat spots, perfect for preparing your skin for the summer months.

The next product in my June favourites is the Pecksniff's - Happy hand and body moisturiser. I'm quiet picky about hand moisturiser, but this is great. It soaks in almost instantly whilst leaving your hands feeling soft for hours. It doesn't make you feel as if you are unable to do any thing for about half an hour until it has soaked in to your skin.

Another of my favourite products from this month, is the Avon - super extend extreme mascara. This mascara is great if you're going for big bold lashes, for a glamorous, going out make up look. It is actually the mascara I used for my recent year 11 prom. It elongates your lashes and creates perfect definition.

The final product in my favourites is the Maybelline - master drama khol liner. It is great because it you can bend it out to create a smoky eye or if you leave it to dry for 20 seconds or so it will stay put as a simple liner. It is another product I used for my prom make up and it lasted for the whole night. It is also my current every day black eye liner, which shows its diversity.

So that's my June Favourites. I hope you enjoyed and don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin and my other social networking!
